Welcome to Kindergarten!
A fun place to wonder, explore, create and celebrate! This is the start of the 2020/2021 school year. We are starting school in a global pandemic. While this year is going to start off much different than usual, we will make the best of the situation and have a super time! This will be a year of great growth, both academically and in other important skills such as patience, grace, resiliency, and creativity.

About Me
I earned my Bachelor of Arts Honours in History and my Bachelor of Education at Trent University in Ontario. I have recently completed my Master's of Education at the University of Regina. I taught K-2 for five years in rural Saskatchewan. I am now in my seventh year of teaching straight kindergarten! I live with my husband on an acreage just outside of town. My interests include baking, gardening, sports and fitness, hiking, and traveling.

Our Classroom
Our classroom is a safe and caring environment where children can learn about the world around them through a combination of play-based learning and inquiry projects. These principles remain in place for the 2020/2021 school year despite making some adjustments to our physical set-up and daily procedures.
